Terms of Service

This page explains in plain language how Oswego Drywall Solutions and this website work, written with Illinois law in mind. It is general information, not legal advice. Last updated 26 September 2026.

The terms for using this website, and what to expect when you hire the business.

What this site is

A description of the drywall work Oswego Drywall Solutions does, a way to ask for a call-back, and, for customers, a way to book an estimate visit and to pay for work that has been agreed.

Nothing here is a quote

Descriptions of work on this site are general. Nothing on it is a price, an estimate, a quote or an offer, and nothing on it forms a contract. Work is agreed directly, in writing, for the specific job.

Written contracts

Before work over $1,000 begins, you will receive a written contract or work order stating the total cost, including parts and materials and any charge for the estimate, with the business’s name and address, as the Illinois Home Repair and Remodeling Act (815 ILCS 513) requires. Every customer also receives the Illinois Attorney General’s pamphlet “Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights”; for work over $1,000 you will be asked to sign that you received it.

Your right to cancel

If you sign a contract for $25 or more while someone from the business is at your home, Illinois law (815 ILCS 505/2B) generally gives you three business days to cancel it. When that right applies, your contract includes a Notice of Cancellation that explains how.

Booking an estimate visit

A booking link from the business lets you choose a time for us to come and look at the job. Booking a visit takes no payment and commits you to nothing else. The link is for you alone, works for fourteen days, and stops working once a visit is booked.

Paying online

A payment request from Steve is for work agreed with you directly. You pay on the site’s payment page through Stripe’s secure form, under Stripe’s own terms, and each request can be paid once. Refunds are agreed with Steve and go back through Stripe to the card you paid with.

Messages

If you ask for a call-back or book a visit, you will get text messages about it: a confirmation, a reminder, and after the job one request for a review. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any of them and they stop.

Photographs

Images on this site illustrate the kind of work described. They are not a promise that any particular job will match them.

Using this site

Please do not misuse the site: do not send spam or someone else’s details through its forms, and do not try to get into the parts of it meant only for the business.

Getting it wrong

Reasonable care is taken to keep this site accurate, but it is a description of a trade and not professional advice for your building. If something here matters to a decision you are making, ask directly rather than relying on the page.

Responsibility

The website is provided as it is. To the extent Illinois law allows, Oswego Drywall Solutions is not responsible for losses caused by using the website itself; work you hire the business for is covered by your written contract. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Illinois consumer protection law, including the Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (815 ILCS 505).

Illinois law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. A dispute about them belongs in the courts serving Kendall County, Illinois, unless the law gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.

Changes to these terms

These terms change when the site or the business’s practices change, and the date at the top shows when they were last updated.
